February or May

We are trying to decide when to go. We went this past February 27 - March 5, and the weather and crowds were perfect! However, we stayed offsite. This year we will be staying onsite, and that time of year is peak season. No thanks, too much $$$. We are looking at staying in early February, but are concerned about the weather. Any ideas? If Feb is too cold, we will probably go the last week of April.

What do you all think?

I'm curious about this too. We went this year from 5/12-5/16 and stayed onsite and were planning on going next Easter but I'm not paying all that money for a 1 bdrm villa at WL. We are debating going either in early Feb. (which is value season) or at the end of April (which would be regular season.)

I was just there in 5/17-5/22. The weather was great. It only rained once while we were there, and only 1 day got really hot. The rest was pretty nice! The weather was never unbearable. I think it was perfect! Probably mid 80's. I'm not sure on the crouds, since this was my first time going in like 6 years. But we used the fass passes, and never had to wait more than like 10 min. The things that had the most wait was at MK, the peter pan ride, winnie the pooh thing, at MGM, playhouse disney, and the who wants to be a millionare show.

And even that was only about 20-25 min. The busses were never packed. I'd say April or May are perfect times to go!

We usually go the last week of April. Had great weather every trip. We had a 1/2 day of clouds and drizzle this past April. Its usually in the 80's, not much rain and it usually hasn't gotten very humid yet. The parks aren't usually really crowded. We used Fast Passes when the lines got more than 30 mins. which wasn't often.

Thank you so much for the quick replies...I had to go with my gut (and the value season). We will be staying the second week of February. I really hope the weather is okay. We stayed the last week of Feb. thru first week of March and it was perfect. I hope I didn't make a "bad" decision...though anything FL has to offer will be warmer than WI at that time !

We need 2 rooms, so I think my pocketbook was screaming Feb. Plus, my SO is not all together as thrilled as my DS and 2 DD are about the trip (since we were just there...), so the more $ I can save the better. I finally just told him (joking of course...or was I?) that if the kids and I were gone some day in Feb, he would know where we were and was welcome to come down and join us There is sooo much that we didn't see in our previous trip and he's worried the kids will be BORED! He's , but I love him anyway!
