February discount and blackout dates questions

Hi,

I have an AP, and I also received a post card. We just decided to go to WDW for DS's birthday 2/10-2/13. We are planning to stay at ASMO but any value will do. I know both discounts show most February weekends blacked out.

I am curious, did anyone have any luck getting any discounts over the black out periods? Or do ya think I am just outta luck? I will pay rack, but a bit of a discount would be an added bonus.

I was able to use a code for February 12th at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. We are staying one night before our Disney Cruise.

Back in November I had alot of trouble getting anything for the blackout dates. Last week I called and got two ressies during the blackout dates. The two different CMs I spoke with found openings on every room type at the resorts I wanted (BC and CR).

I was able to get 2 Rooms at Pop Century, Feb 10-15, AP Discount $49 per night plus tax when the codes first came out. So they were available at some point just not sure what is left.

Same here. We have two rooms at POP for the 10th - 17th with the AP discount. And I just booked last week!

So you have a great chance at getting a discount still.

I just got an AP discount rate at the Beach Club for our trip Feb 11-15. I'd give them a call!

Well I called and was told no values available at a discount, but they did have CSR available at $88.09/nt. Never been to CSR. Looks like a nice resort. Wasn't planning on a moderate but at the same rate as a value at rack ($8 difference), I think I will take it!
