Anybody know what the crowds are like during the first two weeks of Feb.? Also, is the weather very cool?
Thanks!
-Elisabeth

We went this past first week in February and enjoyed it so much we are returning in 2004!! The crowds are low so low that RNR was a 5 minute wait and TOT was a walk-on. We had wonderful weather too! We swam almost everyday and a few evenings too. It was comfortable to walk around in shorts and t's and wear a sweater at night. It starts to pick up crowd wise closer to the end of the second week as some families start their President's Day weekend early.

We go every year in early February. It is awesome!! No crowds, no lines, it's wonderful!! It is cooler at night, and one year, it was downright cold, but during the day, it's great. We usually wear shorts and just take a sweatshirt or sweater for night. My oldest has just started kindergarten this year, so I guess we're going to have to give up our February vacations, and I'm really going to miss them!!

We did go one year closer to the end of the second week. We were in Magic Kingdom on the Friday that started Presiden'ts Day weekend - didn't think about it when we were making our plans. Even still, it wasn't that bad. Crowds were definitely picking up that day, and I'm sure Saturday was crazy, but if you aim to be out the Thursday before - you'll have a great time!!

This year we went 2/7-2/15-- at the beginning of our trip the parks were empty. We walked onto TOT--- only had 5 people in our "elevator". We were the only ones in our boat on the Mexico Ride, and there were only 2 other people w/ us on Malestorm. 30 minutes before showtime we had front row seating for Fantasmic. I think you get the picture. However, we didn't go to the parks 2/14 & 2/15-- so it was before President's weekend began. It was a little chilly though. By sundown you needed long pants and sweatshirts. The days were nice w/ the sun-- but not hot by any means. A few times I wore shorts or capris but almost always w/ longsleeves-- and we had just left 20 degree weather. We swam twice-- but both times for only a brief amount of time. If it's low crowds you want-- you have it. If it's heat you want--- you need to wait another month.
