nice to see a couple of people answer the question and also think its a good idea.

Just to help everyone get the idea I will post another question this morning and then maybe tomorrow someone else will post a question or even tonight for tomorrow if you cant get on line early due to your schedule.

Meeting new people who love cruising and Disney like I do.

My favorite character would have to be Snow White.

The thing I am most looking forward to is the moment that we walk on to the Disney Fantasy!

Everything. Suntan, food, Bingo, FE exchange. Watching my kids enjoy this magical vacation.

There are soooo many things to look forward to!!! This is our first cruise so I'm like a kid myself with my excitement. I think the best part for me will be watching the excitement on our son's face when we first see the ship.

My husband is looking forward to our first "real" vacation.
My son is looking forward to the Aqua Duck!

My answer - enjoying the sunshine, watching my daughter have a blast and exploring the Fantasy. I am curious to see how different it is from the Magic.

And one more - checking out the "adult only" areas for the first time

Favorite Character:
Me - Was Eeyore, now Rapunzel! Sadie - Rapunzel, Seth - Lightning McQueen or Stitch, Hubby (Brent) - prob. Buzz

Most looking forward to:
Me - relaxation! Sadie - bibbidi bobbidi boutique (she is still upset that she did the pirate makeover instead of this in September at Disney World, lol!) Seth - pirate night Brent - prob. not working! LOL!

We LOVE Disney, so everything is an excitement. I still get tears in my eyes remembering our name being announced when we boarded the Dream. I am such an emotional woman!!!

We do plan to meet on board but I don't believe a date/time has been set up for it yet. We do have an FE sign up list and there is a link to it on the Facebook page if you are interested in that.

Is there somewhere similar on the Fantasy?

I am most looking forward to spending the time with my family. I sailed on my first Disney Cruise (and first cruise too) a couple months ago; and want to share the experience with the rest of them. They live 1300 miles away - we see eachother maybe once or twice a year.

On the Fantasy and Dream cruises I have been on we met in the Vista Cafe. Which is mid ship deck 4. It worked good because we had small groups, plus it was really easy for people to find. People came and went so we wernt all there at the same time.
There are 8 couches and 3 benches there and a few stools at the far end. Most people tended to stand up and walk around to say hello to everyone so most didnt sit anyway. There were plenty of empty seats.

Pool areas are too loud to hear each other talk. The theater is closed. The adult areas (family areas in the daytime) are actually kind of small. The largest one (cant think of the name) is closed the first afternoon.

That was my experiences on 3 cruises.

The adult clubs arnt that large, they are a series of small clubs.

It's never too soon to get your FE organised.

I am trying to think of something new to give this time. Since I don't have to fly to the port i dont have to worry about weight limits or roughly handled baggage, accept at the port. makes it much easier for FE gifts.

Good morning everyone,

I wont post a question this morning in case one of you has a question of the day. If I dont see a question posted by early afternoon (eastern time) I will post another one.


One thing i forgot to add in my post about where a meet was held, it has always been held at 3:00 P.M. People are usually on board by then and have had time to drop off carryon luggage and check out the kids clubs.

It breaks up before the mandatory safety drill at 4.

What are we most looking forward to....

DH - not working (I'm happy about that for him too!)
DD - "the Donald pool because Donald is down there" as she points to the ground. I love 4 year old logic!
Me - all of it! Augh that's such a cop out...but it's true..but..I need to pick something specific! Relaxing By Myself in the rainforest room for at least 2 hours! I already warned Dh that I am doing this and he will be super dad with both kids in tow for that time!

Don't ask me how, but he still needs to join as well. I saw my daughter's picture up there, so I think she has joined.....facebook is her life haha Gotta love teenagers, right?

So if I didn't do it right to request to join, I am truly sorry and will ask DH to help!

If you were signed in under your name when you requested to join you should be joined up ok. To know for sure go there and if it shows up where you can post a hello to everyone then it worked. If it shows your husbands name then you'll know it went through for him.

Your not the only one who isnt great at computer stuff. I always have to ask for help. Thank goodness for my son and husband.

I had to set up a closed FB thread for an upcoming cruise I am on and didnt have a clue. I wrote to friends and asked my husband and son and eventually got it up and running but then it took like 3 days for me to figure out how to add aministrators to help when I was gone.

Oops, I see Leanne answered the same time I did. LOL!! She knows how, so listen to her advice.

Ah hah!!! that would make total sense....oops!! DD19 created a facebook account for me that I have never ever used, she upkeeps it for me and lets me know whats going on haha!

I will have her do it for me so I don't screw it up. Well, at least I request for DH. She gets her computer skills from him obviously!
