I didn't see a thread and I am a planner by nature so I am starting one. If you find a great deal on a rental and can post the codes we can help each other out!


I'll start... I just reserved a car for the week of Feb 14-22nd with Dollar and used the AAA code (TB7112 - Northern New England). I reserved a mid-size car for 182.08. I needed a car that could hold 3 bags and 4 passengers.
Base Rate: $126.11
Facility Charge: $12.50
Concession Fee Rec: $12.94
Florida Surcharge: $16.16
State Tax: $11.11
Energy Recovery Fee: $1.49
Vehicle License Fee: $1.77
Estimated Grand Total: $182.08


I've never rented a car while at Disney so I am not sure if this is a great price. I can assure you I will keep checking to get the best deal. Join me!

Is a "second" driver included in this rate? I read the terms but am confused by what they mean by "additional" driver . Is an "additional driver" any driver in addition to the first and second or any driver in addition to the first? Thanks

No an additional driver is 11.00 per day the way I understood it.

Thank you. I have since read on another thread that most now charge for spouse. The exceptions may be Budget and Costco.

National Emerald Club does not charge for spouse.
We have two separate rentals.
National Port Canaveral to Car Care Center (2/6 to 2/9)
3 days total $148.82 midsize using 5007125 and NF82Z5AAG one free day
(Sat nite keep). No paper coupon needed.

National Car Care Center to Car Care Center (1/27 to 1/30)
3 days total $137.72 midsize using XVC1092 car & driver and NU3767ZDW
one class upgrade (no Sat nite keep) No paper coupon needed.

We are six months out so I will keep checking.

Jan 31-Feb 8. I expect it will go lower but I'm at $170 for a compact through www.carrentalsavers.com using the Budget Smart Book. I've been watching these dates for the last few weeks and this is the cheapest I've gotten so far. Just an FYI.

What size? I decided to go for it too since it doesn't require a CC. Hoping to get lower than this in a bigger car too! Used the same codes with Alamo and got $225 total for a compact car Feb 2-9.
