February 13th-17th? Busy-ness?

About how busy is it during these dates? We have an ap and found a package for around $386 for my father and I at a good hotel, should we take it?

Honestly, its been really really busy.

Superbowl Sunday. WOW, i have never seen that many ppl there during the slow season, even Simba was opened to fill guest's cars.

But then again, a lot of attractions are closed so longer lines at the rides now.

I'm more interested in just walking around than hitting every ride.

And I swear by Single-Rider anyways.

I can't speak for this year, but I was down at Disneyland last year for Presidents Day weekend and found the park to be extremely busy, even later at night when lines are generally less busy.

Normally it's quite busy. However, this year the hotels in the area have quite a bit of vacancies for some reason. Over MLK weekend the hotels were booked solid and the park was moderatly busy but not bad except for sunday. On Sunday DL was packed but CA was moderate.

I have a trip planned for those same dates. I noticed the extended forecast shows showers all days. Do you think this will reduce crowds at all???

I've honestly never seen DCA packed except in the Backlot.

You should probably prepare for a lot of crowds, it being the same weekend as President's Day and Valentines Day.

We were just there yesterday; with off and on downpours, the parks weren't too busy. DDs waited 45 minutes for ToT; less than 30 minutes for Toy Story Mania and walked onto Buzz, Pirates and Indiana Jones. There was a 20 minute wait time at Space. We did make ressies for Storytellers and still had to wait about 10 minutes for our table. We were surprised to see Storytellers quite full!
Take your ponchos and umbrellas - be prepared...it was a cold rain yesterday!

We'll be going 2/15-2/18 and I'm sure hoping that it's not very crowded. Although, everytime we go to DL it always seems to be very busy no matter what time of year, I'm not sure what we'd do with ourselves it it wasn't busy!

I think it will be busy....which APs do you have? Unless you have Premiums you will be blocked out. We just upgraded this past weekend so we could go next weekend too. We plan on higher crowds, wet weather and using FPs for the rides we want to do.

That's what we'll probably end up doing, because we want to go for my birthday on Christmas and on Saturdays. I miss having my premium

I have to fix my LGMH, the laminate was coming off and since it was raining so much last weekend I left it in the room so it didn't get ruined. I will have my green Mickey bag tho.

That's an old thread to bring back. It was very busy all weekend, we were there Sat-Mon and it was wet, rainy, cold and packed! But it was DL so we dealt with it.

I guess it matters with how many times you've been there and your party number and stuff.
