February 13, 2011 - 7 Night Mexican Riviera Sailing on the Wonder

Just popping by to say thank you to all those who sent FE gifts our way!

We appreciated the gifts that were made, the useful gifts, the edible ones, and the just-good-ol'-fun ones! Our kids were always so excited when there was something in the fish extender.

We had a great vacation, made better by all the helpful tips learned here. So, thanks, everyone!

I have to agree with vblossom, the fish extenders were a highlight of the trip for our kids as well, thanks to everyone who participated, some of the gifts were incredible, especially the homemade ones, wish I were as talented as you were. My 8 year old insisted on hanging up our fe at home, so maybe we will leave gifts in it from time to time. It was a wonderful cruise, I only wish we could go back tomorrow and do it all over again! Still trying to catch up on the laundry though...

What a wonderful vacation! It was amazing from the moment we stepped foot on the ship. Read several tips on the boards saying that boarding the ship is the perfect time to go to the pools, but we were starving and much enjoyed the Beach Blanket Buffet. Nice to take a moment and sit and just let it all sink in.
Once the rooms were ready, the ship certainly thinned out. The first thing DD did was to hang our FE. What a blast that was!!! And the gifts were absolutely lovely. The homemade ones did certainly impress us most! The only down side was that our lovely candle was confiscated! We left it out on the desk, unlit, to let the fragrance fill the room. When we got back to our room, it was gone with a note from housekeeping saying that even unlit candles are not permitted.
The excursions were amazing. The Dolphins in PV were just wonderful and the outback adventure in Cabo was a blast! They even surprised us with camel rides.
The serving staff on the Wonder really blew us away. Corina and Sunil made the trip just so special.
It truly felt like we were away for a month. We did so many things without feeling like we were rushing anything. Lots of pictures to sort through (3 different cameras), and still eating all the FE candies will keep us busy for a while. But have to say that I am already looking forward to doing that trip again one day.
