Starting this thread for the February 10, 2014 four night Bahamas cruise out of port canaveral.

We will have three staterooms cruising : my parents, my sister and brother-in-law and my husband, daughter (who will be 18 months at the time) and myself.

We can't wait!

Hi--

We're a family of five going on this cruise:

Anne (me!)
DH--Miller
DD--Lauren
SIL--Josh. ( returning from Afganistan in 2 weeks)
GS--Tieryn--4. (His adoption was final a few weeks ago!!)

Obviously, this is a celebratory trip for us. We're not new to cruising; but we are new to DCL. We are also staying at WDW for the weekend after the cruise. So very excited to see all of it through our grandson's eyes!!

We are on deck 8--looking forward to meeting everyone!!

First let me say this whole thing is really way outside my comfort zone. However ,my wife has learned about the Fish extender thing and asked me to get us involved. I am not a social networking guy, so please forgive me if I don't know proper protocol. I have sent Brian Marx a friend request on FB(I think). I'm hoping that's a good start.

Me, my wife and 2 year old boy will be on our first DCL cruise on Feb. 10th. I am a little nervous about providing more info in a forum so any help would be greatly appreciated.

That is the reason I started the group on facebook. I locked the group and you have to request to join. That way the information on there (such as kids names and ages) is somewhat controlled as far as who can see it all. If you have any questions please let me know.

This is a surprise AND first time cruise for my family. We will be celebrating my husband's 40th on board! I'm on the FB page, but have been afraid to post anything, comment, or like posts in fear of my husband seeing anything. We are traveling with my DS 8 and DD 7. We will be at WDW few days prior and after. Hoping to keep it a surprise until the DCL bus comes to pick us up. Wish me luck.

Hi, all--

Have a couple of questions: DH loves draft beer-- does anyone know what drafts are served on board the Magic??

Also, what about cars seats for DGS (4)? We have a transfer from MCO with Execucar SUV; transfer from Best Western Oceanfront (I'm assuming van of some sort) to the pier; DCL transferring us to AKL on the 14th; AKL transferring us back to MCO on the 17th. Do any of you DCL experts know what sort of vehicles are used for these transfers & will we need the car seat? We are not renting a car & our TA booked all the transfers for us.

I'm sure I will have more questions as the time gets closer. Getting excited!!

DCL transfers are all coach buses. There will be no car seats on them since they are not required by law.
