Feb use year and cancelling reservation made with borrowed points

I have a reservation over (details removed) that I am going to post today on the Dis and will have to cancel it tomorrow if it does not rent. This is a Feb use year with borrowed points meaning if I cancel I would need to use the points by the end of January. A few questions... can I put these points into Interval? If I keep trying to rent the reservation and it does not rent the points go into holding. Can I add those points to Interval? If in holding do I still have to use by the end of January since borrowed points?

I think I recently was reading thru the FAQ’s on the member site .
It seems like that question was raised . I have never been interesting using Interval but it might give a generous extension…
Another thing I wonder about When I check in ,I might ask about dropping the last night… . I just noticed the huge increase in points for that last night iXmas Eve at the new Cabins . I was nervous about modifying and now it is past the 31 day cancel ..I think they were banked points too.
So confusing . No wonder people just let their points expire sometimes.

I beleive points that go to II have to be deposited 45 days before expiration.

Whether your points are in holding or not doesn’t really matter because you are canceling pretty much 60 days out and that’s all the life they left on them.

And I do believe holding can be deposited to II
