Feb or April Poll

We have two options and I would appreciate any advice on which would be the better time to visit WDW (incl wife and children 11 +12), especially noting anticipated crowds...

The first week of April is generally VERY busy down here, so I'm glad you didn't pick those dates. It's right during Spring Break and Easter. End of April is nicer, it's warming up by then. Weather is hard to predict down here sometimes, but city-data.com gives averages. End of February is nice, not too busy. You'll get several replies on this. Since I live down here, I go to the parks during off season. I know other travelers will give you more tips on which time to visit.

we go every year during pres. week, it can get crowded then, but we always seem to do everything we want, with not much problem. the end of april definitley can't be as bad as early april with all the breakers. feb. is nice to get away from the lousy weather!

Just had to reply to dopeyone, from luvsgrumpy in Lancaster, PA. We are going April 20-26 with a 10, 8, and 4 yr old. Picked that time for the better chance of warmer weather since we all want to do a water park.

Last year, we were there during President's week and the same week in april that you are planning for this year. The weather was definitely better in April, 85 and sunny every day. President's week was cold; jeans and sweatshirts every day.

It was a little more crowded and the wait times a little longer in April, but we still did everything we planned. It was definitely very manageable. I never once said "wow, where did all these people come from?"

April is our favorite time of year now, as long as we avoid the weeks around Easter!
