The fact that Southwest refunds on price drops is one of the thing I like about them, I got back $120 x 6 passengers back on my March tickets to Disney. Which I applied to tickets to Vegas which has also dropped so I have another $265 credit for future travel. Things I don't like about SW, however, was the cattle call (which they have fixed, I haven't flown them since they changed the boarding procedures) and the fact that they fly out of Midway. O'Hare is considerably more convenient for me.
I'll be there tomorrow AM, snow or no snow. Not going to add on just get a llittle Disney fix before we head down next month. BTW last I heard there will only be 2-4" overnight with another 1-3" tomorrow. They usually do a pretty good job of clearing the roads of overnight snowfall.
Hey WhiteSoxFan: How can a Sox fan from the NW burbs complain about driving to MDW?

Another thing about Southwest: If you download their DING program, it pops up almost every day with usually lower fares to selected destinations. If there is a cheaper fare on the DING offer, you can cancel your original reservations, book the cheaper, and keep the money in your credit account. When my son got married in Seattle a couple of years ago, and I was covering travel of 8 folks, I really made out like a bandit doing this. Unfortunately they haven't had any DING fares to Orlando, Tampa, or Ft. Lauderdale for our VB trip the end of March. Fares, however, did come down for a few days and I took advantage of that.
