Feb crowds?

We are planning our next trip for Feb 21-28 2004. I just called CRO and they stated that this is peak season. Any advice from those who have visted during this time? I was debating if we should just take the kids out of school earlier. We were planning on this time because in La we are out for Mardi Gras and the kids would only miss 2 days of school. Any suggestions:

it is peak season due to collage & schools on "spring" breaks.... it can get very crowded during this time...no not as bad as Christmas-New Years & the dead of the summer....but the begining of Feb would be a much better time if you had a choice!

I'll see you there! LOL! We'll be there 2/17-2/27.

I have been during this season before, and although it's less crowded prior to Presidents Day, it's definitely not as crowded as it would be in March/April as *most* schools have spring break during this time. There are still many spring breakers there during the end of Feb, just not as much as the following months.
