Feb ADR availability

I am planning our Feb 2013 trip, and have a few questions. DH isn't keen on the idea of having to schedule our ts meals. I have friends who went to WDW a couple of weeks ago, and they said that Character meals aside, that they didn't need reservations for the ts meals that they did. Is that usually the case during the slow times of year?

I think it depends on what week you are going. Crowd levels vary quite a bit in the month of February. We were there during President's week this February and we definitely needed ADRs for all of our TS meals and character dining. In fact, I tried to switch an ADR mid-week and had a difficult time because most restaurants were fully booked!

We are going a slow week this year. I made adrs at a few ts restaurants that are popular and the rest we will wing while there. I didn't want to miss out on the few that we really wanted to do, but am leaving the rest up to chance. Exciting.
