Feb 2023 Presidents week

Does anyone know how busy the Disneyland parks will be? I know it will be busier because of the holiday but will it be crazy busy like WDW is during Feb school vacations? I was at WDW Presidents week 2022 and it was insane. I’ve been to WDW over 40 times since 1982 and it was the busiest I ever saw it. Swore I would never do that again. This will be our first trip to CA. We don’t want to take our high school granddaughter out of school.

I feel any Holiday Week/Weekend can really bring in the crowds. Especially the locals.

Although with the reservation system, Disney now controls the overall volume in the parks.
If you are interested in being in the parks, make your reservation as soon as they open.

We made the mistake of going on MLK weekend back in 2003. It was shoulder to should and hard to move through the parks. The lines were terrible. When the weekend was over the volume in the parks improved.

In 2005 we went early October expecting to have the parks to ourselves, not realizing it was Columbus Day weekend. It was busy but not as nasty as the MLK trip.

Make your plans, get your reservations and have a fun time. As far as park crowds... I don't see anything improving any time soon.

We all dream of the experiences we use to have in the parks pre-covid.

I think President's Day Week is Ski Week for many schools in CA. The parks can get very crowded that week. Agree with the pp that trying to plan around the crowds isn't always possible. Pick the dates that work best for your schedule, do your research, then pack your best attitude and have a great trip.
