Feb.13th(lucky for some) 2010 Eastern Valentines Cruise - The Love Boat Sails Again !

Which resort will you be staying in? I haven't decided where we'll stay the night before. Most likely somewhere near the port as my sister lives in Satellite Beach (maybe 20 minutes from the port, south of Cocoa Beach). Although trying to get a night at BLT (highly unlikely I know) is tempting.

Not encouraging to hear that Feb flights are expensive. Our flights down in April this year were not 'cheap'. Although it was Easter/school vacation week.

I just checked Southwest to do a comparison for their early Jan prices. Flights are available through Mar now. Checking...

We are staying at AKV - Kidani SV from the 9th-13th. Its worth a try to stay at BLT although as we all know its Pres. wk vaca. We a taking DCL bus to the port which based on our past experience with one limo comp. is more convenient for us.

Thanks for the tip about Southwest. Checked and a 1 stop flight is $204 to Logan ea. but a almost 7 hour trip home - debating but I can't believe how expensive jetblue is. I probably will book tonight.

Hello again everyone, we are back from Maine and back in the school routine (sort of... those very early mornings are HARD!) The only good thing about being back to school is that it means the cruise is getting closer. Anyone have a countdown going?

Happy Labor Day weekend everyone, enjoy the unofficial last weekend of summer!

Karen

Hi Everyone! I hope this is ok to ask here...I was able to book 3 of our 7 in cabin 5022 for this cruise and the other 4 in cabin 5020 and was wondering if anyone on this thread has 5024 and would be willing to switch??? I believe 5020 has the better view-we would just prefer to have connecting if we have to run out in our p.j.'s to share the shampoo, toothpaste, and of course the midnight room service. Thanks in advance:goodvibes

Hi Everyone - I just booked this cruise yesterday!! We are sooo excited! I was able to get a cat 11 sideways room - number 5513. We would love to participate in the FE. We have two DD ages 15 and 11. We have been on the three day cruise four years ago - we are VERY excited for the 7 day.

As you can all see, I finally figured out how to get a countdown (without the help of any of my children, I might add) So now we'll all know how soon we'll be on the Magic ! :)

Hello Everyone -

I have a hold on this cruise and am desperatly searching for airfare! The price of the air fare might be a deal breaker. We're traveling from the North East (school vacation week) and the prices are equivalent to the crusie:mad:

Please pray for me, I really want the Magic back :worship:

I just added a friend to our reservation last week and we had to get airfare from Massachusetts to make it work for her. Try some of the booking sites like TripMama, Kayak, Sidestep, etc. We ended up booking her 2 segments separately - believe it or not, it was cheaper than a round trip. Her fare was still much higher than we paid months ago, but she felt it was "do-able". Also, we found that traveling from Boston was cheaper than the smaller airports like Manchester, NH and Providence, RI which usually isn't the case. Good luck!

Hey folks, we just booked last weekend for this cruise. We're also a Massachusetts family (Mom, Dad, Daughter 13, Son 11) .
We were on the Feb vacation cruise 2 years ago, it was great. Looking forward to being there with such a nice group of people.

Welcome aboard the thread - look forward to meeting you all.

Wow..... not long now and we only have 4 months left before we sail !!!:cheer2:

Hi,

I just booked our FIRST Disney Cruise for Feb. 13th 2010 7 day.
We would love to get together and meet other Disers and also do a fish extender that I have been reading about.

About Us:

Lisa Griswold
Steve Griswold
Amber Griswold- age 4
Baby TBD - (currently not here yet, but coming soon)

We are both past WDW employees, now living in GA. and love Disney, but just have never been on a Disney cruise because of the high prices.

So we are really looking forward to this trip.

Steve

Does anyone know when we can book our excursions?

Welcome Steve, you are going to have the time of your life!!!!

Does anyone know when we can book our excursions?

It will depend whether you are a repeat Disney cruiser ;

...if you have not cruised Disney before it will be 75 days in advance, for repeat cruisers 90 days in advance (over 5 cruises and you can book earlier).

You must have paid in full to be able to book excursions.:)

Hi Karen,
Are have you sailed over 5 cruises? (I have, I am a gold disney member) I have to call Disney to find out the when the gold can book :surfweb:

Nope, this is #5 on DCL for us, so we are lowly silver. It's good to know that we have a GOLD CC Member in our midst! :worship: You can fill us in on what the rest of us have to look forward to!

Hi,

Is anyone doing the fish extender thing for the Feb 13th 2010 7 day cruise?
I have never done it, so was wondering if there is a list of people / room numbers that will be taking part?

Thanks,
Steve
