I am attending the D23 Expo, and I am going to venture into the park on the evening of August 15th. I have yet to be in Anaheim since the new fireworks and shows have launched for the 60th. I was wondering what people thought about the feasibility of grabbing a reservation at Blue Bayou for around 8pm with the Fantasmic package, and catching the parade at 8:50, and the fireworks at 9:30 and then the late Fantastmic show?

You won't be done at Blue Bayou by 8:50. Plus, why spend all that money to be in there for less than an hour. As of now people are still waiting hours for the parade, don't expect that to change by August, plus Expo weekend will be the first chance many people coming in for the Expo have had to see the parade. If you want to see the 8:50 parade, grab some CS and wait on the parade route by 6pm.

I agree with SMD. Either skip the Blue Bayou or skip the parade.

If you want to see the later Fantasmic show, you can always just get a regular FP for it when you arrive at DL. Eat dinner at a counter service place instead, get a good seat for the parade & fireworks, and then see the 2nd Fantasmic show.
