Fear Factor tryouts?

Anyone ever done this? My son in law wants to try out to be a contestant....how does he do this?

My daughter did this and got to the final 4 before being eliminated. I believe that the tryouts were about an hour before the show and enthusiasm counts in being picked. What ever you do, do not volunteer for the eating contest - it is just too much like the real show!

Yeah! And from what I saw, they really don't get anything good for doing it!

My brother was on Fear Factor Live. Definitely arrive at least one hour before the show. They do interviews and have the crowd choose who they like the best.

Hint: Tell him to be humorous and outgoing. They want characters !

how old do you have to be?

you have to be 18 to be one of the six finalists and there are height/weight limits as well.

they pick eighteen people out of the crowd to participate as well, no age limit. but they don't compete in the major stunts.
