FD 2018 booking is over, if already booked can we change resorts if someone cancelled?

We currently are booked for November with free dining. I had heard in years past that it was possible to change resorts even after booking period for FD was over as long as there was FD room at the new resort, such as if someone else with FD cancelled. Anyone have luck doing this?

Yes, you can change resorts if the new resort is available for your dates under the FD promo. Since the booking window for FD has expired, you might have to speak to someone in guest services to check availability and modify your reservation as regular reservation CMs don't usually have the ability to check/make a change on an expired promo.
