Faxing room requests

Hi fellow DISers! This is my first post, so bear with me. We are vacationing at Ft. Wilderness Cabins in 12 days with another family and we would love to be situated nearby each other so our children can walk back and forth between cabins. I've seen a fax ing requests thread before but cannot find it. Do we have a shot at being near each other? Have stayed there before and loved it, but we were a solo family then. Pleasem any advice on timing or wording of request would be appreciated. Thanks in advance...smacklet

Most resorts are ignoring faxes these days. Call reservations nad have it noted that you would like cabins near each other. Give them the name of the other party, then have them do the same. No need for a fax.

This past week I went for my 4th time at a WDW resort, I always made request via the phone & GOTZ nutin!!!!!

This time I faxed my request 4 days before...and recieved EVERY SINGLE request!!!!
