faxing room controllers???

guys...
this will be our second trip to the world using our dvc points...we will be arriving at bcv's on july 15th in the afternoon...
normally (prior to making use of dvc) i would fax the room controller with a specific request for the room that i wanted...any need to do this with dvc...our requests are already in with member services...
we stayed at okw in feb and i just left it all up to chance and ended up with a great room but i feel compelled to do alittle more about it this time...
if faxing is appropiate, does anyone have a fax number i can make use of...or do i just fax it to the beach club room controller as that is were we will be checking in for bcv....

DVC does operate a little differently than other resorts. If it makes you feel better, you should fax requests to the front desk at BC.
