Asking for friends of mine - the family is vegetarian and they're looking for some good dining options while they visit in September.

TIA

Disney is pretty great with vegetarian offerings, most restaurants will have veggie options on the menu. However, should they not be something your friend is into most of the chef's are willing to work with the guests to create a meal. I haven't been a vegetarian in a few years now but the last time I was there, I just said I had a meat allergy and for every reservation, we had a Chef always came out to chat with me about my options.

Quick service or table service? Just in the parks or at the resorts too?

Off the top of my head, I've had good veggie food at:

TS breakfast:
Tusker House (plenty of buffet options)
Boma (plenty of buffet options)
Captain's Grille (dark chocolate waffles and lemon ricotta pancakes)

TS lunch or dinner:
Jiko (request the vegetarian menu)
Sanaa (bread service, chickpea wat, lentil dhal, salad sampler)
Trattoria al forno (got a pizza that's no longer on the menu but it was good)

QS:
Be Our Guest lunch (especially the potato leek soup)
Mara (butternut squash soup -- I like soup)
Columbia Harbour House (lighthouse sandwich)

Places I haven't tried yet but plan to:
Tiffins (vegetable curry looks good)
Skipper Canteen (heard good things about the vegetable stew)
Harambe Market (QS -- the vegetable stack)

SRT is great for vegetarians. The grape leaves are excellent.

CG and Il Mulino have lovely vegetarian options.

We went with my DDs friend who is a vegan and she had some great meals. Her tofu stir fry at Ohana. Tonga toast at Kona cafe. Quinoa cakes at Whispering Canyon Cafe. Enjoy!

DH and I are vegetarian. We find lots of good options at AK. Love Tusker House and look forward to trying SC in Pandora, which looks very veggie friendly. There are also good quick service options in AK, Mr. Kamal's is all veggie, I think.

MK is harder. BOG, if you can get it, has a good quinoa dish, salads and veggie soups.
