Favorite TS restaurant in Epcot or MK (or reasonably close to either)

Hi all-

We have room for one more dinner on our "open day" - since we are staying at the BC, we assume Epcot would be an easy place to go eat, but considering we expect our "open day" to perhaps turn into "MK Day part 2", that could work as well. For some background, its me, my wife and our 3 yr old son. We have most of the meals planned around him (a few character breakfasts, TRex at DTD, Coral Reef, etc), so we wanted one meal to be excited about for US.

Basically, we're flexible...but looking for a great idea (and don't have one yet). We were thinking Tutto...but we eat Italian so much at home and the menu doesn't wow us. We've also ready plenty of mixed reviews so that has us taking pause (mediocre Italian food? We can pretty much get that anywhere, no?).

So, please, inspire us!!

Haha, thanks everyone.

Believe it or not, one of our son's favorite TS meals is in Morocco in Epcot. They have live music, belly dancing, beautiful decor, and a children's menu. For you and your husband, it is as romantic a dinner as we have had in Disney. The food is a bit exotic, which we LOVE, but is not for everyone.

At MK, we always eat at Crystal Palace. Have tried Plaza (can get better sandwiches at a CS meal) and Tony's (super yuck Italian, IMHO).

Have a great trip!:thumbsup2

Since you are staying at the BC I think dinner in Epcot is ideal. We get park hoppers just so we can eat in WS most nights of our trip.
Even if it is a MK day part 2, you could leave there in time for dinner and head to WS.
I agree with PP, Restaurant Marrakesh in Morocco is really nice. It is a beautiful setting, with warm friendly service and excellent food. Plus there is the music and Belly Dancer for entertainment.
We also really like Teppan Edo in Japan. The food is delicious and the chef's cook right at your table, providing entertainment. I think that would keep your little one entertained.
Have a Great Trip

Biergarten is a favorite of ours, love the umpalumpa band, my kids get a kick out of them and they love to dance to the music.

LeCellier is a mustdo every trip.

Beach Club's Cape May Clambake is another of our fav's. We usually stay @ the BC so it is a too do for us. The kids can draw on the paperlined tableclothes, keeps little ones busy.

Have only eaten @ Crystal Palace, I liked my DH not so much.
Cindy Castle we liked, but not going back anytime soon for 2 TS.

Thanks for the ideas.

The trip is actually coming up so our options with ADRs are limited. So far, from what has been suggested (and my own personal research), looks like I can get Biergarten, Tutto, Les Chefs, Marrakesh. And while Marrakesh seems to be the popular pick right now, I'm a bit leery as both wife and son are less than adventurous. Also San Angel has spots (I love mexican food) but I've heard that its not the best...so I'd rather not waste this on a mediocre Mexican place.

I'm trying to stay away from buffets as much as possible, so i don't know if Crystal Palace would be a great choice. Ditto with LTT.

I also think that although there appear to be no ADRs, walking up to Cape May or Captain's Grille wouldn't be a huge deal b/c even with a wait, its where we're staying so we can keep busy while waiting (if they're worth it).

Any thoughts as far as those choices?

Mexico would be my pick. I know it gets mixed reviews, but to be honest, doesn't every restaurant??? I think of it like this: It might not be in WDW, but I know I personally hate the Olive Garden - it's too generic for me. I know plenty who love it. All a difference of taste and opinion.

I found San Angel to be authentic - but I think there are many people who consider Chili's to be mexican food - not us.

Biergarten is also awesome. Brats, beer, and oom-pah? Sweet ;)

In Epcot we ALWAYS go to Biergarten. We also LOVE Cape May Clam Bake and that is a great option as well since you are staying at the Beach Club. Have a GREAT trip!
