What is your favorite time of year to go to Disney? and why?

My favorite time to go to Disney is Labor Day weekend because it's September and everyone is back in school so there's no crowds!!! Also, I only miss 4 days of school instead of 5 and my parents only have to take 4 vacation days!!! Also, the weather is perfect!!! It's still warm all the time but not as boiling hot as July and August!!! It's a great time to visit!!!

I agree I think September is a great time to go, it's not too hot yet it's still perfect to swim the parks are less crowded the kids are back in school and if you go closer to the end of September you can go to MNSSHP :)

Mine is November because the weather is nice and perfect and there's less crowds because there's school. You do miss school days but it's worth it! :cool1:

I like the holidays with all the decorations and such. Love the Osborne Lights and the lights on the castle. Plus, it's usually semi-cooler weather which is always great.

Well, I like going in October, because the crowds are fairly reasonable and my birthday's in October. Also, the weather is usually pretty fair around that time. But, I also enjoy going in December, around Christmas time. The crowds are usually bigger and it's really cold, however, if you bundle up and try to stay mild mannered, it's really enjoyable with the Osborne Family Lights and all the other decorations. :goodvibes

My favorite time to go to Disney would be Early to mid January... All the beautiful Christmas decorations are still up and most people have gone home after the big holidays. :)

I'd have to agree that Fall is the time to go! (September seems to be the least crowded). We got good rates and discounts when we went then, and MNSSHP is a must-do! Even if you don't do MNSSHP, though, Halloween decorations are still up throughout the park. The crowds are low and (in the past, at least) they have offered the free dining plan then.

That's a good point about your birthday!!! My birthday is in September and I love everyone wishing me a happy birthday and I love the special treats you get!!! It makes Disney even more magical!!! :wizard:

When I was younger and it didn't matter if I skipped school, we'd go down to Disney in early December. The weather was nice, the crowds were low, and all of the Christmas decorations were up. But since my school attendance actually matters, I really like going in August. We'd always go after the Florida kids went back to school but before our county did. We always lucked out with crowds.

Late January is the only time I have gone when it's not crowed, so that's my vote :) I love how uncrowded it is plus the fact its not super hot or rainy.

In between Thanksgiving Break and Winter Break. Since it is less crowded or after summer and before spring break. :)

I love going in July when it's nice and hot out all day. Gotta love that Florida sun. Just took my Gf to WDW in January, and it was the first time I've been there not in the summer. Loved all the xmas decorations and celebrations. The lights at Hollywood Studio were awesome. Weather was a little cool for my liking but I'm from Chicago so a bad day in Florida is still better than most days here
