I posted a separate thread for Palo's, but I was always looking at the menus at Parrot Cay, Luminere's, Triton's, Animator's Palate, and was wondering what items were particularly delicious. Also, I'm not sure how the dining works, where it is those extra menus fit in (Tropicali? Around the World? Master Chef?) We have both a 7 day scheduled and the 14 day Panama Canal.

Thanks for any suggestions on what to order :).

On the 7 day you'll get all the menus except one, you'll miss either Tropicalli or Mexicalli depending on which cruise you're on. On the 7 day you're on the Magic, so it is Luminieres, not Tritons. Anyway, I enjoyed the veal chop, all the seafood appetizers, the lobster, the creme brulee, and the bread pudding. My DH loved all the red meat entrees. My DS liked the fettucine with ham, and of course had Mickey bars every night for dessert. There is one night when you can order a combo of lasagne and filet mignon...next time I will order double lasagne, and skip the filet...I'm a rib eye or porterhouse girl. I ordered the turkey one night...it was mostly white meat, which I don't like...next time I would specify dark meat. The breads are wonderful, stay away from them if you want to have room for dinner. Everything was good, all the food is of very high quality, and the waiters work extremely hard to make certain you have exactly what you want. At our table we started laughing, wondering if service that is TOO good is a possiblility. We're on a 14 day too, I'm hoping that there will be 7 days of new menus...just because I adore trying new things !

The banana creme brulee napoleon on the last night was especially memorable.

For entrees, most of the beef dishes are VERY good. At Triton's/Lumiere's especially.

For the most part, you will be gastronomically pleased despite some recent threads to the contrary.

The lobster tail on Captain's Night, and the seafood bisque! And ANY of their deserts with chocolate in it.

At Palos it would have to be the pizza, at the restaurants I would say the lamb chop at AP. And on deck it would have to be the chicken fingers, they were soooo good! Oh and my dh loved the cheese and crackers from room service. We really did like almost everything we tried though.

The stollen at Palo brunch, and the dense, cinnamon swirl rolls at Topsider's breakfast buffet. (Wait, I also love the french toast, and the mickey waffles!)

Hubby raves about the maple glazed salmon ... I loved the creme brulee and all the "red meat" (stake) entrees :teeth:

i love chicken tenders at plutos
and mickey's chicken soup at dinner on the kids diner menu

The warm shrimp salad at Palo. I'm ordering this as an entree next time! :D

Love the lobster wrap at Animators!

Love the Leg Of Lamb at Palo's!!

Love the CHOC. SOUFFLE at PALO'S!!!!
