The tomatoes are my favorite. Sun gold cherry tomatoes just to snack on, they are so sweet and delicious! Or a nice big one used in a tomato sandwich, on white bread, with mayo, salt, & pepper. We also make caprese salads with them. And sometimes a pasta salad that will have a bunch of the cherry tomatoes.
Our cucumbers are on the way out. We got some large ones, but the heat is getting to the plants and they're at the end. We like just plain sliced to snack on, or make a little sandwich with hummus and cucumber. And I just made tzatziki sauce with one of them. Just picked 10 big poblanos ... making stuffed poblanos tonight for dinner. And the jalapenos we make into grilled jalapeno poppers.
