Heading to Disney in May with my sister (11) and friend (16) and I'm 15. Driving 13 hours from Louisiana! What are your craziest things you do on long trips to Disney or other places? Thanks ♥

ive drove from ohio to disney, and theres not much to do except sleep and watch movies.

Watch movies, listen to music, attempt to do homework, read...you could get some portable board games to play with your siblings, thats always fun

I make myself fall into a semi-concious state. You think I'm joking? I go for 3 hours with my eyes fogged over, and my face buried into a travel pillow, almost in a meditative state. Then, when we stop at some random gas station, my family is like, "Someone has to stay, she's asleep!" and I wanna say, "No, I'm semi concious!" but I don't because I'm afraid I'll slip out of veggie state.:thumbsup2

wow. 13 hours! i think mine is going to be about 15 hours from texas. LUCKY! you get less time.

i love sleeping as much as i can, bothering my brother(10), having a food war with him, and then texting my friends if they're awake. of course watching movies and lulling myself back to sleep by trying to count as many trees as i can. :rotfl:

7 hours of straight Disney music will totally get you in the Disney mood ::yes::

or drive you insane :lmao:

I read a lot on the car trips. I read 2 books on our day and a half drive last summer.
There isn't really anything to do except read, watch movies, listen to music, and sleep.

It's not too bad on the way there because you're pumped to get to disney but on the way back it's torture. I say sleep as much as you can because you'll need it for the vacation!

when we go on long car trips, my family likes to play family games.
We play the alphabet game(where you have to find a word that begins with the letter on a sign, other car, etc. for example, the letter A might be on a sign for "Apple County." once one player uses the word "Apple" for the letter 'A,' noone else can use the word apple.) it gets really fun! you can divide the car into teams, or play with everyone on their own team.

We also play the liscense plate game, where we try to find a license plate from every state, and we play the flag game, where you divide the car into two teams, and whenever you see a flag, you scream flag! and your team gets a point(this can result in debates, and may annoy parents; my aunt has officially banned the flag game from her car because we get so competitive:rotfl:).

that, and sleep. I can sleep just about anywhere, for an extended period of time.

well when i go to disney world it is like 17 hours so i usually just sleep or watch movies and tv shows

It's about a 12 hour drive for me. I bring a lot of movies to watch on my portable DVD player. I try to sleep some too, but I'm too excited to sleep most of the time! :)

the alphabet game is really fun too, when you start with a, look for something that starts with the letter a, and then just go through the alphabet

Im from NY and it takes me 2 DAYS TO DRIVE! We fly. But we drove before. So you can watch Disney movies, sleep, play ISPY or other games. You can read, talk listen to music, etc

From where I live at we drive 10 hours to NC then we stop and stay there for ther night then the next day we drive another 12 hours to Flordia. I usally sleep, play my Nintendo DS or listen to music.I can't read in a car it's to hard.

wow 13 hours is pretty long. but try driving 18 hours straight through without stopping overnight :/. its pretty rough, i did it once, and once only. So this is what i do: load my ipod with disney music and podcasts
Watch disney movies
SLEEP
and play apps on my ipod. :) make sure you bring snacks and food in a cooler just incase someone wants a small snack

Sleeping, reading, playing punchbuggy or singing Disney songs at the top of your lungs are always fun ways to spend any car ride :thumbsup2

Read and sleep! Last year I brought my laptop and played this old computer game called The D Show. It was really bright outside, so I had to sit under a blanket while I was playing :rotfl:.
