OP - if you like David Gray, try Shine. I love that song, but it makes me cry whenever I hear it. It's about love, but I guess more about love that has ended. It reminds me of a dear friend who passed away a couple of years ago and left behind a wife and two kids. He was a David Gray fan and introduced me to his music and this song.
