Favorite resort for summer weather?

Are there any resorts that you think are better than others during the summer?

For example, we normally love BWV/BCV locations because it’s walkable to two parks, but will it be so hot during the summer we won’t want to walk? How often do boats and the skyliner go down because of lightening? Are they quick to switch to busses when that happens?

Walking is our preferred transportation mode during non-summer weather, but we are debating switching part of our trip to AKL because the pools look shady and maybe the buses will be nice because they have AC.

Any thoughts are appreciated!

Th DVC original poly buildings are super close (3-5 min walk at standard pace from Moorea) to TTC for monorails to MK and Epcot. Similar logic applies for grand Flo and contemporary for mk just transfer at ttc for Epcot. I do love AKL however more so for resort days than park convenience so depends on your trip itinerary!

Ewe usually split stay between RiV and VGF and find them both great for our summer trips.

We have been fortunate to not have experienced down time with the Skyliner more than a few times.

That’s good to hear about the skyliner! The skyliner is our favorite mode of transportation (besides walking) because it feels more like a ride!
