DH and I love breakfast, but since we're paying OOP for our breakfasts we don't necessarily want buffets or sit down. We're staying at CSR, but hitting the parks every day. What are some of your favorite breakfasts? Please, not all danishes and muffins. Although I am having a Mickey premium ice cream bar one morning - LOL!

Thanks!

well, ours is close to danishes and muffins but I was going to say croissants, either chocolate or plain. We were on the DDP last year and every morning, we'd stop and grab a juice each, a bottled water, a croissant, and a small bowl of fresh fruit. It was our morning tradition and it was a great on the go thing to tide us over until snacktime :thumbsup2

We only purchase breakfast 2-3 per trip (we usually stay 10-12 nights) so that is a lot of breakfast in the room.

I usually buy milk from the resort store. I pack some cold cereal, oatmeal, trail mix, dry roasted peanuts, granola bars, small jar peanut butter (for peanut butter "spoons"), flavor blasted goldfish, and a few of the individual bags of Funyuns and Cheetos. We also save our juice and desserts, including pudding, applesauce, and fresh fruit to take back to the room.

In general I expect that we eat the cereal, oatmeal, granola or fruit for breakfast and the other things for snacks. However, ds's favorite "Disney Breakfast" memory was the time he ate a bag of Cheetos and a resort mug filled with Cherry Coke on the way to the bus stop. (I ate the funyuns!).

At home whenever he wants to eat something crazy for breakfast he asks for a "Disney World Breakfast" - basically at Disney anything goes!

The Main Street Bakery in MK has yummy breakfast sandwiches.

I actually really like the yogurt parfaits. I think they are around $5, but they are fairly large. I don't remember if they had them at CSR, though.

My favorite place to get breakfast is at the Boardwalk Bakery. If you head over there before Epcot opens it is very quiet and peaceful and is a nice calm way to start the morning before the insanity of the day in the park starts. I usually get some fresh fruit, a bagel, and some coffee (I get the coffee from the Swan/Dolphin because they have Starbucks and not Disney swill) and just enjoy the quiet.
