We will be staying at the Poly for the first time this August. I am not sure which type of room to get and which bldg. For a standard garden view room which bldg is best. For a lagoon view which is best. I definately want a balcony room and a large room if there are differences. Thanks for your help!

I prefer the buildings closer to the TTC this way I can walk to the EPCOT monorail & it is a shorter walk.

Others prefer the buildings closest to the GCH. It is all in your choosing & you can't go wrong with what you pick or even if you don't get what you request.

Go to the tikiman's site to check out things:

WOW Kerri, what a GREAT link!! Thank you sooo much this really gives me a lot of info on choosing the right building at the Poly. Marilyn :thewave:

When we stayed at the Poly last year we had a lagoon view room in Tahiti - room 3733. It was the best room! We had a direct view of the castle and a full balcony. Tahiti is the building closest to the TTC so we could grab the monorail really fast and get back to our room really quickly. It is also right next to the boat that goes to MK and we spent a lot of time hanging out on the balcony watching the boat go back and forth. The room was still very quiet even though it was close to the TTC. Also, our balcony overlooked a beach that no one really pays any attention to unless they are staying in Tahiti. It has a hammock that is rarely used. We spent one evening lounging in the hammock, drinking champagne while we watched Wishes - it was perfect!
