Favorite Meal at Chefs De France ?

Pretty self explanatory, I'm going there and would like meal suggestions. I've really had French food before, and would be open to anything. I'm on the DDP so I'll be getting a dessert too

The duck is great, as is the seafood casserole (been there twice, so can't speak for anything else on the menu). Be adventurous and try something new.

Le Chefs has a 3 course price-fix menu that you can use with DDP and we did it last year. The choices include:

Soupe a l'oignon gratinee - the classic onion soup topped with Gruyere cheese

OR

Salade au bleu - romaine hearts, blue cheese dressing, bacon, walnuts, croutons

Bisque de Homard - Lobster bisque



ENTREE:

Plat de Cote de Boeuf au Cabarnet avec pates - Beef short ribs braised in Cabernet with pasta, pearl onions and mushrooms

OR

Demi poulet fermier roti, pommes rissolees et tomate grillee - Half of an all-natural roasted chicken, rissole potatoes and grilled tomato

OR

Filet de Saumon, ratatouille sauce Choron - Broiled salmon, tomato Bearnaise,ratatouille made with onions, zucchini, eggplant and bell peppers

OR

Gratin de macaroni - Baked macaroni with cream and gruyere cheese

DESSERTS
Creme brulee - Vanilla creme brulee and a madeleine

OR

Profiteroles au chocolat - Puff choux with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce

I had the salad and salmon and DH had the onion soup and beef and both were wonderful. For dessert we had the mousse cake and creme brulle also amazing. I think its a great deal with DDP as you get the three sourses, but you really have to like one of the choices to make it worth it. They have this option at Le Cellier and Kona Cafe also.
