Any suggestions for hats to keep the sun/heat away in the Disney summer? I wear a hat in the park but they always bother me and feel hot. I wear the Scala cotton wide brim hats from Amazon (washable). I do not love them. I'm constantly stuffing them in my bag, taking them out again, etc. Ball caps allow too much sun exposure on the sides/ears.

I'd love a few suggestions!

Regular 'ol light colored baseball cap. I think women look great in them too.

I wear wide brimmed straw types hat. They are ADORABLE and keep the sun off your face and shoulders. I've paid crazy amounts and as cheap as like ~$10 at target in all colors. They're also great by the pool. They keep me much cooler.

I bought a straw fedora last year. Most comfortable hat I've used at WDW. Light on the head and vented.

Best hat I have ever had for wearing in the sun.

I'm generally a bucket hat type of person.
I bought this one at Disney in 2014 I think.
I love it. It's super light weight.

I had also been wearing that hat to go on my 2.5 mile daily walk but once it turned colder I wanted something that I could put a hood over and you can imagine how I'd look with a hood folding the brim down lol.
So I decided to buy a WDW baseball cap from the Disney Store website. I actually really like it and plan on bringing it with me on my next trip.

I love the Nike Dri-FIT Featherlight visor, it is super light and I can still wear my hair in a top knot.

I have a ton of hair, and a big head, so I really don't care for hats. When it is really hot, I do wear a visor, mostly as a sun shield for my eyes along with my sun glasses. As for protection for my ears, I make sure the whole family is well covered in SPF50 in the morning and carry around a sunscreen face stick to reapply to face, neck and ears.

DH has very little hair left on top, and loves a baseball style hat.

I can't stand hats, so none for me.
DH wears a baseball style cap.....usually a DVC one, but any will do.

I wear a wide brimmed visor, and love it. It's cooler than a hat, but shades my face nicely. Mine also has velcro so it's adjustable, and it's easy to loop around the strap of my bag when I'm not wearing it. Love this visor!

I have a short hair cut and I wear a baseball cap (DVC). The sun & the glare really bother my eyes and the ball cap keeps the top of my head from sunburn.
