Favorite gluten free meals

I'm planning a trip and bringing my mom who has celiac. I will get the most current lists from Disney before we go. I'd love to hear about specific gluten free meals that people have enjoyed.

I really enjoyed my salmon at both PSB lunch and CP dinner this past June. At both of these restaurants, the regular salmon entree was not GF, so the chef made me a special GF one and they were both delicious! It was also a treat for me to have a cheeseburger with a GF bun at Cosmic Rays. I really appreciated Disney's effort with GF diets

Boma! Chef TJ is awesome! He made a great meal for me including gluten free banana tempura (yum!) I'm going to be there in three weeks.

I have enjoyed many gluten free meals at WDW! Boma may have been the best of them all! Chef TJ was awesome. He made an absolutely amazing meal for me, and it was vegetarian! He also made an amazing meal for my daughter (10yo) and the dessert he served us was the most amazing food creation I had ever seen! (It had 2 slices of cheesecake, 3 brownies, bananas tempura and chocolate sauce all over it!).

Anyway, I have eaten many great meals there. The chefs at The Turf Club made excellent meals for me and my daughter, as did the chefs at the Liberty Tree Tavern, Hollywood and Vine, Tony's Town Square, the Sci Fi Dine In (our favorite), and the Whispering Canyon Cafe. We have had good meals elsewhere, but these were the best! Places that we did not get good service were Chef Mickey's and the Garden Grill (we had a great meal at the Garden Grill one time, and the next time they served me only plain white rice and plain broccoli! no dessert, no salad dressing - the chef obviously did not know what he was doing.).

Have a great trip and most of the chef's will go out of their way for you to have a fantastic meal!

I'm now a vegetarian, but I used to love the fact that 50s Primetime will do gluten-free fried chicken if you call them in advance

wellesleyprincess - have you been to the 50's primetime as a gluten free vegetarian? I have an ADR there for February - I am GF and veg, my daughter is GF and eats meat...is there veg GF options there? I know every Disney restaurant is pretty accomodating, but if you have had any experience there I would love to hear about it!

My mother in law has celiac. When we went to WDW her favorite gluten free meal was at the Liberty Tree Tavern. She got ham, turkey, potatoes, gravy, and buns. They will also make you gluten free pancakes and waffles at the Crystal Palace.
