Favorite food finds at Disneyland and California Adventure?

Oh, I think this question is so subjective… I’m going to chime in on holiday treats first. One of my favorites is the peppermint churro that’s covered with some chocolate sauce. I also really liked the peppermint sundae from Clarabelle’s that I got a few years ago. I still crave that and hope they have it this year!
We tried the peppermint beignets last year and they were OK. If you are wanting them definitely mobile order.

The only sit down restaurant that we have tried in the parks is Blue Bayou in the ambience was amazing the food was meh! Quick service we all enjoyed the Ronto Wraps and the kids yip tip in GE. Ranch lo Del Zocalo was something new we tried in May and were pleasantly surprised! My son loves the French Dip from The French Market and we all love corn dogs from either The Little Red Wagon or Stagedoor Cafe. Hungry Bear is okay but I second that they have good fries! Especially the cheese and bacon ones.

In DCA Flo’s is good! My group had a variety of options and all were decent. My son loves the Mac and cheese bowl served on the wharf and I’m excited to try the quesabirria tacos on our upcoming trip. Pym’s has been hit or miss for us, one time was great and one time was not. We did not like the giant pretzel either time. My son in law loved Angry Dogs and actually went back for seconds!

My favorite treats and snacks are popcorn, regular pretzels, churros, Matterhorn macaroon, Dole Whips, lumpia, and marshmallow wands.

Do not get pizza! It’s awful! I’ve had better frozen pizza. We also really disliked the Lucky Fortune Cookery. It was REALLY sweet with no other flavors.

My current favorite treat is the Raspberry Rose Macaron at Jolly Holiday, but they always sell out mid day. Make sure you get yours early! We mobile order ours right after park opening for lunch time pickup.
I didn't realize you could mobile order snacks at the start of the day!! That is very exciting!!!!! :)

Thanks for such detailed descriptions! So helpful! How were the portion sizes at Ranch lo Del Zocalo?

Oh yes, that’s a big pro tip! You can order hours in advance of your desired pick up time, so if you’re planning to eat at popular meal times, you can select your desired pick up time before they all run out. If you try to place an order during usual mealtimes, hoping for an immediate food pick up, you’re likely going to be disappointed and stuck waiting for a later pick up window…or just waiting in line.

The Giant Pretzel with dipping sauce and PYM Test Kitchen. Got it as a snack while waiting for my group to get off Guardians because my 18 mo daughter has allergies and it was a safe food. Ended up eating it almost entirely by myself because the dipping sauces were soooooo good!!!

That 30% discount is sweet! I'm seriously considering buying like 10 and keeping them in my freezer.
Hmmmm that is such a good idea! I still want to try raspberry from Bing Bongs. Strawberry from Candy Palace is also yummy but blueberry is definitely my favorite.

Yes, you can choose a later pick up time, but one caveat. Items aren't "reserved" and since you aren't charged until you pick up your order, if something runs out before your pick up time you won't get it. At Jolly Holiday we've noticed that many of the desserts sell out early.

Definitely going to be trying that one!!! Thanks!
