Favorite Disney Resort

I know someone just asked this question...figured it would be easier to view as a poll and I'd like to know too!

What is your favorite Disney resort and why??

My favorite resort is the Contemporary. We've stayed at the CR several times and we've always been lucky enough to receive our request for a MK view (we've only stayed in the tower, haven't tried garden wings). The views from the room are unbelievalbe, especially at night. We were able to watch the castle turn colors at night, watch the monorail as well as the ferries in Seven Seas Lagoon, look at the Polynesian and GF and watch the GF and Polynesian's viewing of the EWP from our room. When I was vidoe taping the view from the balcony, I zoomed in on Splash Mountain and was able to see tiny logs going down the drop on Splash Mountain. We watched fireworks from our balcony.

I love being able to walk to the MK in the morning, it's so peaceful. I also love the option of being able to be one monorail stop away from the MK (going back to CR) so we can go back to our room or relax by the pool or being able to walk back to the resort in approx 10 minutes avoiding monorail crowds after parades and fireworks. We also enjoy hanging out at the pools. It's fun to be in the pool and see a monorail zip by or watch boats in Bay Lake.

The concourse area is a fun place to shop and eat and the arcade is fun and big. We have always found the rooms to be spacious and have always been clean.

I voted YC/BC as I love the BCV. The resort is excellent, stormalong bay is great and Epcot and MGM are my favourite parks.

I love the Boardwalk. Both sides the Inn and the Villas. Can't wait to go back!
