What is your favorite Disney movie that gets nearly ignored by the parks? I have two.

Mulan and

Summer Magic (I know a lot of the older non-cartoon movies are ignored but this is my favorite!)

Home on the Range ( Whenever we see someone doing something dumb we say "He must be taking stupid lessons from that buffalo")

WEEEEEEEEE!!!

I LOVE Summer Magic!
According to Amazon.com, it's coming to DVD in May!

Bedknobs and Broomsticks. I can see bed-shaped cars, great songs from the movie as a soundtrack, and a lot of AudioAnimatronics for the "Substitutiary Locomotion" scenes.

They use to have the Mulan parade at MGM which was great! I think the characters are still in the MGM parade, like Mushu. Mike and Sully from Monsters Inc. are also in the MGM parade, but nothing else about them and they are both really great movies! But one of my favorites is Emperors New Groove. This movie just cracks me up everytime we watch it!! :rotfl: It is totally ignored and I've never even seen one character from this movie in the parks!

Newsies (live acting musical which like no ones heard of)

I forgot about that one! That is one of my all time favorites! I have it on DVD and VHS.

For those of you who mentioned Monsters Inc., I always thought the door chase would be a great ride!

Emperor's New Groove. I love that movie... but there's nothing in the parks, not a character, no pins, nothing. It's like the movie never happened.

I know Pete's Dragon used to be in a parade, is he still around?

Bobbi :flower:

sleeping beauty i know you can get pics with aurora but i like maleficent and want a pic and a dark ride with her

am glad summer magic is coming out in dvd i love that movie

:earsboy: Bedknobs and broomsticks is a great movie.. There are so many things they can use for a ride but i think it is to old of a movie to just now make a ride out of it. Most kids do not even know what it is so it will not bring in the crowds... I would love it though!!! :earsboy:

Bedknobs and Broomsticks is one of my favorites! That would be so amazing if Disney created a Bedknobs and Broomsticks ride. :cool1:

How about a ride at MGM where you zoom through several Disney animated movies like the Monsters Inc. door room scene, Robin Hood's archery tournament, Basil of Baker's Street's Big Ben scene or ride on Toby, The rescurer's flight or river chase, even Mr. Toad's wild ride...

Love it!!!! Can you have it ready by Oct '05? LOL

I second the Newsies motion...
It is defintely my all time FAVORITE movie and I would love to see it represented in the parks but it just doesn't have the mainstreem popularity :sad2:

I will never forget when I went in 1996, there was a Newsies poster hanging and I almost fainted!!!! I was so excited to see it, I took a pic but I have no idea where it could be.
