Favorite Cookie for cookie exchange?

I am going to a cookie exchange on Tuesday. Anyone have any yummy, yummy cookies!! I need to make 5 1/2 dozen and I am looking for a great recipe. Something chocolate would be great. I cant make Choc chip, or the peanut butter ones with the kisses as others are making them. Ok ready set go......

A friend at work makes the best cookies and they are so easy. She takes the pre-sliced peanut butter cookies, and wraps them around a mini Snickers bar (the little bite size ones) and then bakes them. The are wonderful and she is always getting requests to bring them in.

They are not chocolate but they are very good.

Snowball Cookies


A favorite at Christmas time, pecan-filled cookies are scrumptious all year 'round.

Prep: 45 min - Bake: 18 min

2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups finely chopped pecans
1/4 cup sugar
1 cup LAND O LAKES® Butter, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla
Powdered sugar


Heat oven to 325°F. Combine all ingredients except powdered sugar in large mixer bowl. Beat at low speed, scraping bowl occasionally, until well mixed (2 to 3 minutes).

Shape rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into 1-inch balls. Place 1 inch apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 18 to 25 minutes or until very lightly browned. Cool 5 minutes; roll in powdered sugar while still warm and again when cool.

Makes 3 dozen cookies

I love peanut butter that are put in a mini muffin pan and have a reese peanut butter cup squished down on them when they are almost done cooking. LOVE THEM.

YUM! My friend makes those and they are a HUGE hit!
