Does anyone own sandals that work for lots of walking? I hurt my foot a couple years ago and its never been the same. I need support for my arches. I will bring sneakers that work well but it would be nice to have sandals too for summer.

I wear Keens at the park. For me they're as comfortable as sneakers, but I don't have foot issues.

My wife swears by Keens and I love Tevas and Eccos. They offer very good support and are comfortable for a full day of park hopping. We like closed-toe sandals that are water friendly for the parks as they offer more protection in crowds and from our 8 year old...:) After we found a few styles we love and fit well and now go through ebates and shoebuy on-line and get 25-30% off for replacements! This was her latest pair of Keens found at shoebuy (Venice H2 women's), got them shipped for $66 a few weeks ago.

Teva or Keens would be my suggestion too. I own both and alternate days wearing them in the parks.

These are my favorite by far! For my last 3 trips, I have bought a new pair and they are so comfy. They don't need any time to "break in", and my feet are rarely achy (even after a long day in the park, including a Halloween Party). They are seriously the best. They have a Sanuk store in Downtown Disney that sells them, or you can find them on Amazon for a great price.

Edited: I just re-read and saw that you need support for your arches, so these actually might not be the best option for you. Sorry!

These are Earth Spirit shoes. I get them from Wal Mart. I have arch issues and planter facetious. My foot dr. can't believe how much arch support are in these shoes..He has even started recommending them to others. They are only $26 and SO WORTH this small amount.

I am a Keens Whisperer fan. They have enough arch support and of course can get wet and dry easily, Plus the closed front part keeps your toesies safe from renegade stroller wheels. I always switch at night though. Keens during day for keeping feet cool and fast drying. Then at night I switch to my Asics running shoes with nice soft socks. The change gives my feet a relief from rubbing against a particular shoe shape for too long.

Keen Newport's (Amazon usually has the best deals). I also just bought a pair of Merrell's for our fall trip. I have several pairs of Keen's and swap them out each day in the parks.

I wear crocs carpi flip flops (not to original kind) and they are one of the only flip flips I can wear. I used to have plantar fasciitis that was horrible and changing to only good soft yet supportive shoes with good arch support (not too high) will do anymore and these fit the bill. They are pretty plain looking as far as flip flops go but I can wear them all day and my feet feel good. I also feel good in orthaheel sandals but they are much more expensive but they also have cuter styles and feel fabulous.

Here is the ultimate sandal... Cute AND so so sooooo comfy (I can wear all day at DL).

Sanuk Yoga Mat Sling Backs... I get mine off Amazon but there is a Sanuk store in DTD too

I love my Keens. I have several pairs and I like the fact that they have toe protection.

Thanks so much for all the feedback! I went shopping today and tried on a couple Keens, Chaccos, Earth's Origins Camby and JSport Regatta. I loved the Earth's Origins Camby and JSport Regatta the best. I ended up getting the JSport at Famous Footwear. They are having a huge sale today. The JSport Regatta is similar to Keens but I found the footbed more cushy. http://www.famousfootwear.com/en-US...Sport/Grey_Orchid/Womens+Regatta+Sneaker.aspx
