What is Your Favorite Buffet? Please tell me what and where they are (park, restaurant etc) and why you like it Please. I am trying to make a decision on where I want to go and with my son buffets would work better then a sit down meal.

We like the Crystal Place in MK. Breakfast and dinner are very good (never been for lunch). The food is good and characters are fun.

We do Crystal Palace for breakfast every trip. Food is average, and character interaction is decent.

Now the only place we won't go back to is Boma...ick. :scared1:

Boma in AKL. Something for everyone!

For a character meal, I agree that Crystal Palace is great. :thumbsup2

My favorite is Boma. The food is awesome! When we went everything was really fresh and hot and well-prepared. My favorite dishes were the pine nut crusted salmon (and I don't usually even like salmon) and the potatoes with affritude. The soups and desserts are fantastic, too. :thumbsup2

1. Boma at AKL for breakfast & dinner. Lot's of choices for adventurous & picky eaters. Great atmosphere! We've done dinner the last 3 or 4 trips, love it! Tried breakfast for the first time in June and going back in December :thumbsup2

2. Cape May Cafe (at Beach Club)character breakfast--all the standard breakfast choices, great character interaction and much quieter/less hectic than some of the other character buffets.

3. Cape May Cafe Clam Bake (at Beach Club)--great buffet for seafood lovers & non-seafood eaters. Lot's of choices and the desserts are great :thumbsup2

I will have to say when we went to Boma...everything was lukewarm-cold...the food all tasted the same...and it was like mush on our plate. I just don't get what the big deal is about this place. I will ay dessert was good...but for the price we paid..I would have eaten virtually anywhere else on property and been happy. :confused3

Cape May Cafe Clam Bake is our favorite. We also enjoy Crystal Palace and O'hana's, althought not a buffet it is served family style. Not a fan of Boma's either

I have been to Crystal Palace several times for lunch and dinner (going for breakfast for the first time on Sunday!!) And I love it! I'm not much of a salmon fan but whatever they do to the salmon at Crystal Palace it is fabulous! They also have this amazing cheesey mushroom pasta and addictive mashed potatoes. The characters are incredible even to us and we're almost always there without children!

I am also a huge fan of Tusker House at the Animal Kingdom. I've only been there for lunch but it is spectaular. The breads are so good, my favorite is the vegetable samosas and again I don't love bread pudding usually but at Tusker House it is outstanding!

1900 Park Fare was our favorite this past July. My 8 year old son agrees too! He loved the stepmother!

Boma for breakfast and Beirgarten for dinner

Biergarten is our favorite!

Dinner is our favorite meal there.

It is located in Germany/Epcot

We like the food, and love the atmosphere. The service has always been good for us too. The live entertainment is fun, and it can be interesting sometimes to meet the others at your table.

If you are looking for a more laid back buffet the Trails End buffet at Fort Wilderness is great. My DS-3 loved it. They had Mac and cheese and stuff that he really liked. Nothing Fancy just good down home cooking.

I loved Hollywood and Vine at Hollywood Studios. The food was delicious, good selections. My favorite was the mac & cheese, and the desserts!

I think it does a character meal for breakfast/lunch, but not for dinner. Hollywood and Vine is one of the restaurants that is part of the Fantasmic dining package.

If you are just going for the food and don't care about it being a character experience, the BOMA all the way!

It has the best food I think of any of the buffets we have done and we have done most of them. The french toast on the breakfast and the prime rib on the dinner are very good.

Just got back on Saturday - we were there for 2 weeks and had many TS meals. These were the best buffet meals IMHO.

Favorite breakfasts - Cape May and Bomas.

Favorite dinner - 1900 Park Fayre (at Crystal Palace we had terrible service!)
