So DH and I want to start our vacation off right by having a wonderful breakfast our first morning!

What is your favorite breakfast place and why??? :confused3

Olivia's at OKW.....fabulous breakfast potatoes and wonderful service. Very relaxed and comfortable.

We really liked Fresh at the Dolphin.... the food is .....well... Fresh! Juices are made to order...same with the omlets. Delicious coffee too. :goodvibes

We were thinking of possibly Chef Mickey's? Is that good? We are also staying at the Boardwalk - do they have a good breakfast? :confused3

I have never even heard of Fresh! I love to hear about new, good places! :flower:

Crystal Palace - we like the food and it gets us started in MK.

Chef Mickey's is also an excellent choice.

We like 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian best.

If you are staying at the Boardwalk, you could try Fresh, as someone else suggested, Spoodles, or the character buffet at the Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club. I've never eaten at either Fresh or Spoodles (for breakfast). Cape May has a nice buffet, but I prefer 1900 Park Fare.

If you're staying at the BW, go to the Boardwalk Bakery and find a table outside on the Boardwalk and enjoy the morning.

If you're going to be in the MK neighborhood, The Trails End Buffet at Ft Wilderness is a great breakfast at a very reasonable price.

It really depends where you're staying and what park you're going to do first. I don't think I'd make a detour for breakfast.

I like Kona, Yacht Club Gallery, Fresh and Cape May in that order.

I never eat in Boma for breakfast but if I was going to go to AK I might give it a shot.

Our two choices for Best Breakfast are:
1. Kona Cafe @ Polynesian for great themed breakfast dishes (Tonga Toast and Macadamia Nut/Pineapple Pancakes) along with regular breakfast fare.

2. Whispering Canyon Cafe @ Wilderness Lodge if you love a traditional country breakfast with biscuits, eggs, etc. as well as entertaining wait staff!

Enjoy your breakfast!

Donald's Breakfastsaurus in AK...LOVE their breakfast pizza. Also loved Chef Mickey's

Kona's is our favorite must do breakfast. Love the Tonga Toast. Worth the trip to poly if staying somewhere else. Bomas is my second favorite.

DH and I were thinking of starting off at MK on our first day - so maybe Crystal Palace or one of the places mentioned in that resort area.

Is MK still more crazy on the weekends? Our first day will be a Saturday (8/20) - are we crazy to go to MK? And I am assuming that Crystal Palace opens when the park opens, right? Or earlier?

One more question.... ;) What number do I call to make a reservation? :confused3

I love Boatright's at POR!

What is on the Crystal Palace breakfast buffet that makes it special? Of all the times I've been to WDW, I've never eaten there.

TONGA! TONGA! TONGA! TONGA! TONGA! TONGA! TONGA! TONGA! TONGA!
(toast that is, at the Kona. Heaven!) :bounce:

Our favorite breakfast places are:
Kona Cafe (kona coffee and macadamia nut pancakes)
Boatwright's (sweet potato cakes)
Spoodle's (frittata)
:)

1 407 wdw dine or you can try the 1 800 828 0228

Do crystal palace for an early (810 ) breakfast. get to the MK entrance around 745 or so. Buses run early for breakfasts. you need to ask at the desk of your hotel to find out when the bus usually arrives at your stop.

crystal palace has first res at 800. if you go for 810, you'll have a few minutes to take pix in front of castle with no one else around. It is great!!
the characters are winnie the pooh, and friends. the breakfast is typical , I think it is very good, I end up stuffed, and get lots of good pix.

we always finish up around 9, just as park is opening, and head straight to our favorite rides. we did this on july 5, and rode 6 rides by 1130 using no fast pass!
sat is very crowded, but you can do a lot before lunch, and park hop over to mgm or ak after a late lunch.

Hi,

Agree with YodasMom and Dana49. Love the sweet potato pancakes at Boatwright's!

Fresh at the Dolphin is very good, too.
