I just found out that I need to bring something to a potluck dinner tonight (change of plans, we were going out to eat as a group but now at someone's house)

So I'm picking up some meatballs and need to pick up some sauce for them - no time for recipes today!

What's your favorite store bought BBQ sauce for meatballs in a crock pot?

By the sea-

This is tried and true, and always a hit.

Get 1 jar of chili sauce
Get 1 can of cranberry sauce

Heat up the cranberry sauce til it melts
add chili sauce

pour over meatballs, toss to coat, throw it all in the crock pot.

Yummy yum yum

(I know it's not barbeque sauce, but it is yummy, and I never have leftovers)

Deb, down here they use grape jelly instead of cranberry sauce!

Blondie, that makes sense. I am deep in the heart of Cranberry country here. My mom always did the little hot dogs in grape jelly and mustard.

thanks

we've always done BBQ, never thought of anything else, I think I'll give it a try!

I like the Teriyaki Barbecue sauce with the little meatballs-I think I usually use the Kraft brand. Always a hit and never a leftover!

I like Kraft BBQ sauce (I think the flavor I use is called Onion) mixed with equal amounts of cranberry sauce. I use that as a sauce on all kinds of meat.

I do the same as Caity. A guy I used to work with always made that recipe for our pot luck lunches and it was sooooo good. When we all found out what it was made of we were grossed out. It sounds nasty but it tastes great....and its so simple. ;)
