property restaurant?

Please post. going back AGAIN and need to cut back on 'dining'. WITH WAITSTAFF SERVICE.......:rotfl:

THANKS ALL

If you are an AP holder, try the TIW dining discount...20% off any menu item including alcohol at a huge list of park and resort choices. other options: bring your own food (or do a market run on the way to the resort if you fly) for breakfast and the evening meal; Don't do snaks at The World, bring your own. And then do one lunch TS each day.

Lunch at Liberty Tree, you can split an entree and they will even divide it up for you. Same with Big River Brewing Co at Boardwalk. At Cosmic Rays we also split an entree of rotisserie chicken. For DTD Earl of Sandwich is really good and cheaper.

wolfgang and earl have waitstaff?

WPE kind of has waitstaff. They do bring the food to your table, and will get refills if they walk by and you're empty. EoS does not. I would take EoS any day over WPE though. I've never had anything good there. I know I'm in the minority. Most people seem to love it.

i would also vote for Wolfgang Puck Express, I discovered them a few years back when I was on the quick service plan and couldn't get over how good the food was and how very restaurant like it is. You order your food at the register and then go find a table and the staff brings your food to you and if you order dessert they bring it at the end of your meal. Very reasonable prices and nice serving sizes.

I am with you. I don't care for WPE at all. Love me some EOS though.

If you are trying to cute back on food expense, go during free dining. if you are staying off site, then eat before going to the parks off site and then after you leave.
It depends on what kind of food you want to eat as well.

My family can never do the "split meal" thing. We've tried every restaurant suggestion here and it never works. While the rotisserie chicken was more than enough for me, it was not enough for two people. I tried splitting it with my teenage son. 30 minutes after lunch the kid ended up getting Mcdonald fries (when they used to have the cart) a soda and then some popcorn. So much for saving any thing.

In DTD we only like EOS. although some times what we will do for lunch is get an ice cream sundae from Ghiradellis. LOL.

I find drinks are our big downfall. maybe since we go when it's hot we can spend a ton on drinks if we're not careful. We buy water outside the park, freeze it the night before and then have cool drinks pretty much all day. saves a ton.

If you like Yak and Yeti @ AK (it is one of our favorites), go to Landry's website and buy the select club membership. It costs $25 and you get a $25 credit. You also get a $25 credit on your "birthday". I registered my birthday in Feb as that is when we usually go. That gave us a $50 credit for $25. We also love WPE and EOS. If you have little ones, Rainforest Cafe has had coupons for kids meals in the past, I haven't seen any recently though.
To the PP, I would not expect to share any meal with a teenage boy and get enough to eat :).
Lastly, when we went in Feb with friends, I warned them about the cost of sodas, but they didn't listen. They spent more on sodas than we spent on food. You don't have to buy water either. The water in the soda machines is well filtered and FREE.
Be Our Guest @ Magic Kingdom is QS with waitstaff at lunch and it is FABULOUS!
