Favorate Pool to Pool Hop to.

My DD7 told me this morning that she is really going to miss pool hopping to SAB. I told her we wouldn't be able to pool hop there again so we would have to stay there to use the pool, but I also told her I would ask here and find out where people like to pool hop to the most. What she liked at the SAB was the zero-entry sand bottom pool and I think she really liked riding the tube around in the circle.
So I guess I am looking for good pools to take her to...we have only used WL and VWL pools and SAB. So just looking for other ideas to make her feel ok about not going to SAB. Thanks.

We have visited all the resort pools with the exception of the AS resorts. I think Coronado is a great choice.

I justed bought BCV (and own OKW), and said we really need a super Fab new pool. The CM said Saratoga was going to have a good one.

I asked about Pool Hoping, and was told that this was under discussion.

Seems to me that the more problems and complaining to DVC that occur surrounding the pool hopping issue, the less likely that pool hopping will be available at Saratoga and other resorts. It may end up that a few people ruin it for the majority. Perhaps I'm wrong. I'd like to see the DVC perk continue at non-SAB pools.

That's one of the major reasons we bought DVC.
Swimming is very important part of our vacation.......

Is WDw evenually palnning on remodleing all the main pools to zero depth? I hoep SS has this. It was a huge hit with myself and our littel one at AK.
I love SAB, but it si kinda hard to watch your kids there, my oldest can swim, but I still need to keep a good eye on her and it is hard with another one who can't swim yet. Zero depth was PERFECT.
When is SS opening date again?

...BWV has a great pool/slide (please let's not start the scary clown discussion again!).

...we pool hopped at the Polynesian last year...took a midday break from MK and it was great. It has nice theming and a nice slide.

Those are the only pools we've been to other than SAB and WL. If your 7 year old is like most...as long as the pool has water she'll have a blast!

Definately the most important aspect of a pool to my DS8. In fact, when we stayed at OKW for just one night, he was dying to go in the pool there. With or without the slide!!

Have your kids been disappointed that the dolphines at OKW main pool are off limits ?

I think the resort photos are unintentionally misleading. When browsing the brochures we got the impression the dolphines were a children's water feature,not just decoration.

We like to go to the Poly as a change from BWV. I like relaxing on the beach and the slide is pretty cool.

Another vote for Poly pool. Great resort, tropical beach setting, hammocks on beach between trees, views of the GF, CR, and the MK. Volcano theme is new, and kids seem to enjoy the slide.

My little 8 year old loved BWV because of the open pool side and the whole clown theme going on and Poly is just as grand with it's inside volcano theme as well. //We haven't been to SAB or Coronado Springs or Wilderness Lodge but can't wait to pool hop to these locations on our next Mother\Daughter Vacation.

I think she might find more people her age there - if it is socialing that she wants.

we have gone to poly,GF,WLV,BWV,BCV,AKL,Y&BC,CBR,PO, and I think they are all great!!haven't found a bad pool yet..so I guess we have to keep on trying..Marianne OK OK MY FAVE IS sab, followed by luna..
