What are your top 5 favorite Disney Signature Restaurants??? I'm mulling over which ones to book when the time comes. Thanks!:)

My Favorites are CRT for breakfast, Biergarden, Ohana, and 1900 Park Fare. We have also been to the Crystal Palace for dinner which was just ok for me. The character interaction was good though. We also went to Chef Mickey's for dinner and the food was not that much different from what you get at the Crystal Palace but the dessert was great and so was the atmosphere. We did go to the Kona Cafe as well and the food was good and the Kona Coffee they have was great but it was noting special.

My top 2 are the California Grill and the Yachstmans Steakhouse. Our meals at both of these last month were excellent. Could not fault anything about the food or service.

We will be doing these again in August and I am also hoping to book Narcoossees, Citricos and Brown Derby.:thumbsup2

I have only been to 3
Ca Grill multiple times.. This is a must do every trip. The sushi is outstandaing and the Bananas and Butterscotch Buzz is our fav dessert at WDW

Narcoosees. We love to watch the fireworks here. They pipe in the music.. The Calamari is great and the cheesecake is AMAZING.

Jiko..Very, very good but I don't like it as much as the other 2

1. California Grill

2. Narcoossee's

3. Yachtsman

(We haven't been to the Flying Fish, but we intend to go there on our next trip in May.)

Having never done any of the signatures I'm wondering are they shee-shee or stuffy or "uppercrust-ish"? And is the food gorgeous but you need a snack later? My DBF and I can't decide b/w Citricos and Narcoosees. We are definately doing the Yachtsman, he doesn't like the menu at Ca Grill. AK & AKL are out as we avoid busses like the plague (I'm in an ECV and the busses can be nightmares).

Done all of them many times.

My top 3 favs are not on the dining plan

1. V&A
2. Bistro de Paris
3. bluezoo

Out of Disney's signatures, my favs would be:

1. FF
2. Jiko

Out of those two, some days I say FF is fav and some days it's Jiko, it's that close.

Next 3 would be:

3. CG
4. Citricos
5. Yachtsman

Jiko and FF are to die for....cannot wait to try Cali Grill in Oct

We did the Yachtsman in April and I loved it but DH not so much

In no real order...

1. Flying Fish
2. Yachtsman
3. CA Grill
4. Jiko
5. Narcoossee's

We like Artist Point, too, but with the exception of the mushroom soup it doesn't have any dishes that feel as "signature" as the others.

We've never been to V&A, Citricos, Bistro de Paris, or Brown Derby. Or Shula's, but that's a little different. We liked bluezoo, but Mom was sick the night we went, and we got a bad table.

With the exceptions of V&A and maybe Bistro de Paris, there's nothing "shee-shee" or "stuffy" about any of the signatures. They're just like regular Disney restaurants, just with better food and a little more upscale atmospheres.

I've never been to Citricos, but we did Narcoossee's on our last trip and *loved* it. Yachtsman is one of our very favorites. As for CA Grill, we stayed away a long time b/c the menu was intimidating, but it's really fantastic food. Maybe try a few of the other signatures first to sorta get your feet wet.

I understand your issue with busses and your ECV, but Jiko is one of the best restaurants on Disney property. Again, you might want to try a few of the others and then decide if Jiko would be something for you to try on a future trip. You could always try to get a cab, if that would be easier.

You can read my reviews for several of the signatures if you follow the link in my sig.

Happy eating!

Wow, these are great, thank you. I especially love those food reviews with pics!!! Makes me sooooo hungry! I can't wait! Thanks for the great ideas. I think Cal. Grill is going to be a pick!:cool1:

When you say signature, I will assume you mean great food.

Flying Fish, Artist Point, IL Mulino, Blue Zoo, Le Bistro(if you don't have children with you), Victoria and Albert's (if you don't have children with you),
you can give Jiko a try, lots of changes going on there, it has been hit or miss lately.

We are definately not fans of Yachtsman steakhouse or Shulas...two of the worst meals we have ever had, bar none.

Raglan road is quite good.

my fav signature has to be flying fish! love the crab cakes, the scallops, and then whatever is the signature dessert!

also a big fan of the lobster and almond crusted cheesecake at nacroosee's!

and let's not forget jiko! they gave me an appy portion of the mac & cheese (since i dont' do red meat!), and then everything else i had there was fab!

finally trying cali grille when i go in march! can't wait!

Great reviews! I really enjoyed reading them.:thumbsup2

I was debating which signatures to try this trip and your Narcoossees review has just helped me decide.:goodvibes

To be honest they are all pretty good. Of the pure Disney spots:
V&A
California Grill
Citrico's
Flying Fish
Jiko
Non-Disney:
Blue Zoo
Il MUlino
