What are some of your favorite breakfast items or places outside the parks? Either in Downtown Disney or the hotels... Thanks in advance!

I had this great soul food place, Georgia's, doordashed to my hotel that had chicken and waffles that were good last time I was in Anaheim in May. Huckleberry's is pretty decent in GardenWalk, they have a good menu of traditional/southern breakfast items like eggs benedict, etc. In Downtown Disney, there is Starbucks, Jamba Juice, La Brea Bakery, and beignets from the jazz kitchen express area.

I didn't think of using DoorDash! Thanks for the idea!!

I’ll stick my semi related question here. Tortilla joes walk you cafe is ick. Nacho cheese. It’s like fast food. Is the main restaurant actually good? I read about so many people planning to go there.

It's.... passable. Mostly because you're in Southern California and your good Mexican food options are expansive.

It's like eating at Chevy's, basically.

oops just reread and seems like you meant the Disney Hotel area not Hotel row. I've only done Jazz Kitchen and it was good.

If you are walking in from the Harbor Blvd side there is an IHOP, McDonalds and Panera right by the pedestrian entrance. It's not fancy, but it's affordable, quick and having eaten at all of them it was decent quality for that type of restaurant level.

Thanks! We're totally open to any walkable options (from Disney hotel)!

Most of the places are on the Harbor side so the opposite side from the Disney hotels. I prefer Mimi's Cafe and Denny's over IHOP although they are a slightly further walk. I think La Brea Bakery isn't open for breakfast right now but Earl of Sandwich in Downtown Disney may be an option if you aren't rope dropping.

Who’s hating on Tortilla Joe’s (jk), actually Joe’s is downright amazing compared to Blue Bayou, if you’ve been lately….

My current vote is for the loco moco burrito from Tangaroa Terrace. Very filling- just ask for extra hot sauce/salsa that they provide with it...

Oh, that reminds me! There is something called Tangaroa Toast that looks amazing. Sorry i don't have a picture, but here's the description: Brick Toast, Bananas Foster, Whipped Cream, and Toasted Coconut, served with Bacon .

I saw a picture of it on someone's video post about the DLH construction, and wow, it looked sooooo good! Oh, it's $15

Edited to add: it was a mobile order on the video and it came in a big cup thing with caramely sauce--yum. I can't wait to try it.

That sounds kid of like Tonga Toast at DW 596028

For me, Tortilla Jo's is more about getting inexpensive food at the Taqueria when I'm not feeling like Earl of Sandwich. If I was looking for sit-down Mexican, I might as well go to Rancho del Zocalo in Adventureland.

This is the picture they have of it when you sit down to eat, but the one I saw in the video was in a big to-go cup and all smothered in sauce and stuff. MMMMM. It also didn't come with fruit with the mobile order.

One of my go to places is la brea bakery. I love their breakfast croissant. It's so yummy with egg bacon and cheese how can you go wrong?

That sounds yummy! Would you happen to know if they do take outs? Never been to Tangaroa Terrace before... Thanks!
Yes- I mobile ordered it (was faster than waiting in the actual line on a Sunday morning), and it came bagged in a to-go container when you get your pick-up text. It was $11.91 with 15% legacy discount including tax.
