Father's Day

Does anyone know if any of the resorts, POR in particular, do anything special for Father's Day? We will be there this year on Father's Day!

I asked this same question last year. We were there on Father's Day and nothing special was done for the fathers at the parks. I didn't stay at POR, so I can't be sure about that. When I posted my question last year, everyone said that Disney doesn't do anything special for Father's Day (unlike Mother's Day). I don't think it's fair. Fathers are special, too!

We were there a couple years ago for father's day. It was me, my mom and my 2 DDs. We left the fathers at home! Anyway, we went to MGM that day for I think Star Wars weekend. As we were leaving the park after Fantasmic, we heard one of the CMs say to a family, "Happy Fathers Day!" We all stopped in our tracks and looked at each other. Ooops. Its fathers day! So when we went out of the gates of MGM we went to the little bunch of phones that were there. We called my DH and my Dad (who were together at my house) and wished them happy father's day. We had left them gifts ahead of time. So, I guess to answer your question, NO, nothing special is done.
