Fastpasses before MSSSHP

Apologies if wrong thread. I want to make sure I have this right. If we go to the MNSSHP and enter at 4 on that day without swiping our magic bands, we can still make/use fastpasses for say 3:45pm , 4:45pm and 5:45pm when the park closes at 6. MDE will let us do this even if we have park tickets for 4 days and are going to the party on a day we don't use the park tickets? Trying to get the most out of four day tickets and a party ticket with 5 nights in an on site hotel.

if you are not going to the park that day then in the past people have been able to get FP with there party ticket. since the party has not started yet Disney could change this policy I have not heard of them changing it but I have not looked.

Last year there were problems with it, we'll see what they do this year. You had to book your party day last.

Thanks! We are already planning for 2019 (I know, but we go ever other year or so ,and the year we don't go we plan and dream!)and this will determine the exact dates we go! We were planning on doing the party day on arrival day.This will be our 10th visit, but first party!

Then you need to monitor the "official" MNSSHP thread. People are just now booking FP+ at 60 days out, so there should be some chatter as to how it's going this year. Last year, people were getting an email after they had booked saying they had too many FP+ days for the number of days on their tickets, and if they didn't cancel one day, then the system would cancel their last day of FP+.
