I have always understood that you could only have possession of one fastpass at any one time until the ride time came up. Then you could get another Fastpass. What I have been hearing now is that you can have unlimited Fastpass as long as they are for different attractions. Is this correct ? ::MickeyMo

Actually, neither is correct.

The window to obtain a new fastpass is generally 2 hours so for example, if you get a fastpass at 1:00 and the return time is 4 hours away at 5:00, you can get a new fastpass at 3:00. So, in those situations where you have several hours to wait for your return time, you could end up with more than one fastpass.

Fastpass is not unlimited at this time. It's been posted on the board that Disney was experimenting with some fastpass rides at Epcot recently. Apparently, you could get a fastpass for certain rides there and then still get a fastpass for another ride. I'm don't know which rides this was for or if they are still doing it.

I hope this helps at least a little bit.

The only experience I have had with this is last week at epcot. I got a fastpass for Soarin' and noticed it said I could get another fastpass immediately, rather than at a later, specified time.

Just look at the fastpass that you just got. There will be the return time for your ride and further down it will say you may get another fastpass after [a specific time will be entered here]. If the time showing for another fastpass is before your ride time you do not have to wait until after your ride to get another fastpass.
