This is my first thread on the DISboard so be gentle with me. My topic is the Disney FastPass. My family uses the FP religously and have gotten it down to a science. It's wonderful! The only problem we've experienced was on our last trip May '03 at Space Mountain. My two children and I obtained our passes and went on to enjoy other areas of the MK. Our window was 8:30-9:30 and we returned at around 9:00 pm. When we arrived there was a long line at the FP entrance which is not that unusual because, especially at the end of the day, folks like to hang around and wait for their passes to mature. I courteously asked the person at the end of the line what the time was on their FP. Theirs was 9:15. I proceeded by them and they wanted to know where I thought I was going. I said "mine says 8:30 so we can go in". We continued to pass lots more hostile people who couldn't understand why we were passing them on the way to the FP entrance. One, who was especially irritated, stopped my teenage daughter to question her and come to find out, his FP said 8:45. My daughter asked him why he didn't go on in. He just stood there looking stupified. The attendants were doing nothing to help the situation which surprised me. Of course, when we got to the entrance and showed them our FP's they sent us on in. We are taking our 11th trip back in Nov. but my daughter is so distraught about this neg experience that she is opposed to FastPassing Space Mountain again. Were we in the wrong in any way? Would you give me your thoughts to ease my daughter's mind?
