I want to use some fastpasses in one park as then make another for a different park. I heard that I need to use up my 3 fastpasses first before I can make one in a different park. There are not 4 fastpasses I want in the first park or the only available ones are later in the day. Whats the best way around this?

Choose less than 3 FPs in the first park, then select another in a different park once you use your first. You may find the FP FAQ Addendum helpful, specifically Post #4.
